Exercise DVDs Shows ResultsImagine yourself perfectly fit, lean, tight abs, and full of energy. You have a confidence about you. You feel a sense of accomplishment and you can’t help notice that people, friends and strangers alike also admire your physique. That is a great feeling and you can have it too. How long has it been since you were in great shape? Has it been since childhood maybe? The question is, do you want to be physically fit? If the answer is yes, then the next thing to consider is why aren’t you? Is it a lack of time? Maybe a lack of equipment, or knowledge, not knowing where to start.

So the question now is why would you want to use fitness dvds to workout? Isn’t a gym better?

Some Things to Consider

I’ve been a member of one gym or another for the past 25 years, provided they stayed in business. I have gotten into good shape, but never seemed to get those coveted abs until I broke down this year and bought some exercise dvds. Back then I had the good fortune of having a workout buddy who was a competitive body builder who won championships. I did learn a great deal from him about technique and routine. But I still never got the six pack abs look to compliment my chest and shoulders.

I am in better shape now than I was then and I owe it to a small investment I made this year in exercise dvds.  The amazing thing is I did it in a very short period of time (2 months). The exercise dvds taught me many techniques that I had missed years ago. The most important thing I learned was intensity. The exercise dvds inspire you to bring it. And that intensity has made a world of difference in my physique. I also learned a great deal about diet and changed my eating habits to coincide with my workouts from my exercise dvds.

*To Save Time
Getting to a gym and working out is a time consuming event taking into consideration the drive time to and from.  My  gym is packed when I want to go (after work) so there is a constant wait on equipment, or you find yourself altering and substituting your routine to try to get it done in a timely manner.  What’s worse is leaving work and fighting traffic to make that small window of time in a less crowded gym giving you a good start on your workout until you are surprised in the changing room to find out you forgot to bring your shoes. Ugh!  When your return, if you return, you now have the joy of trying to find a parking space.

*Less Expensive than Hiring a Personal Trainer

The purpose of exercisedvdsforall.com is to give you the knowledge, coaching and inspiration to get physically fit. Your job is to bring the commitment and discipline. If we can marry these two intents you will be on your way to the best body you had ever dreamed of having. And it will be so much more fun when you attend those holiday parties and gatherings with your fantastic body in your newly fitted attire.

* Highly Effective
I used to be a gym rat and still am to a lesser degree thanks to my exercise dvds. I was an avid fan of free weight lifting and would push a lot of weight for my size. In the gym there is a little bit of ego that shows up and pushing big weight used to be part of it. Now more than 20 years of this foolishness I have damaged my shoulders and elbows from the strain. I used to come home after a workout from the gym and ice down my very painful shoulders followed by ibprohpen. And even with all that pain and sacrifice I still had a slight pouch for a gut.

* Variety
The spice of life as they say. Same goes with your workout routines. The majority of trainers would agree that muscle confusion is good for defining your body. It is a great way to lose weight. The belief is that muscles will adapt eventually to a routine. If you do the same exercises for months at a time you would find that at the end of those months you are able to do much more and have an easier time doing that activity then when you started. Your muscles adapted. They are highly efficient and are not working as hard. Your are burning less calories sticking to that routine. That’s why constantly changing the routine helps you to develop the muscles. It employs exercises from different angles, movements, using different weights and bands for added intensity. Muscle confusion is another key I learned from exercise dvds.

* Set Your Own Schedule
For the busy professional this is imperative. You may be working some long hours and struggle to get any exercise. Preparing for a workout (packing clothes, food)  followed by driving and parking could steal another hour of your time. So having some exercise dvds will allow you to schedule a workout in the comfort and ease of your home.  I sometimes workout in the mornings. That means getting up at 5:30am. If I am going to the gym I have to prepare my clothes, and pack breakfast and lunch. It takes a bit of organizing and getting used to. Then there is still the 20 minute drive. Parking is a easier in the early morning though. The pain for me is packing two meals and the limitation of not having more than a fridge at work.

* Privacy
Some people feel awkward in a gym and therefore don’t go, if they go for very long. This is a phenomenon that typically happens in January. The New Years resolution. A lot of people make the resolution and then find it odd to be in the gym with the regulars. It de-motivates them to some degree. There can be a bit of humility in trying to start your resolution in the presence of very fit folks who are accustomed to the gym. It can also be embarrassing joining a class where you are not accustomed to the routines. I have attended a few cardio sessions in various classes. I hate it when the class goes one way and I go the other.

Now my workouts have dramatically changed. My exercise dvds taught me an excellent chest routine that doesn’t hurt my shoulders at all. As a matter of fact they don’t bother me at all anymore and my chest looks better now then when I was doing all that bench pressing. The bench press routine I was doing gave me a man boob look, as pointed out by a few of my guy friends. Not anymore. It is lean, tight and defined. The best part for me is that I no longer have an embarrassing gut. I am no longer in fear of peeling the shirt off and feeling guilty for working out so hard and still having a pouch in the middle.

With my exercise dvds I structure my time so I get a great work out in followed by the  most important meal of the day, breakfast. Then it’s off to my own shower, and my own germs. No lugging clothes to the car and locker room. The worst thing when you go to the gym in the morning is getting a good work out in and then you realize you forgot to bring a towel. It takes a lot of little paper towels to get dry I can tell you.

* Knowledge From the Best Trainers in the World
What’s great about exercise dvds is the quality of the dvd. It is an accumulation of professional knowledge brought directly to you in an easy to see and understanding format. Seeing is believing in this case. Most people will learn more from observing techniques while being instructed rather than purely reading about it like in a magazine. The trainers in these videos have done it. They have trained thousands in most cases with a high degree of success. You learn from the best. The best part is seeing your transformation. The second best part is feeling your transformation.

* Inspiring and Motivating
One of the best things that I found in my exercise dvds is that it highly motivates me. I went from a boring routine where I really wasn’t making many gains, in muscle or the waste line. I absolutely love the fact that when I put my pants on I have to wear a belt to keep them up. They used to be tight with a little muffin top spilling over. That in itself is inspiring enough for me to keep on pushing it.

* Keeps You On Track and Focused
It is easy to get caught up working the same routines on your favorite machines if you are a member of a gym. It is also easy to get distracted while you are waiting on equipment. What I found is my exercise dvds keep me focused and working hard. I don’t have to worry about waiting on a piece of equipment. When I start the exercise dvd I know I am in for a good 60 minute workout in some cases and I am focused on doing as many repetitions as the trainer is pushing me to do. I can give it my full attention. I have no distractions that normally occur in the gym. That gives me the benefit of working out harder (intensity) and getting it done so I can get on with my other endeavors of the day.

* Very Little Equipment Needed
The beauty of using your exercise dvds from home is it takes very little equipment. You may need a mat if you do Pilates or Yoga or some other form of cardio. A mat may cost $10 -$12 dollars. In addition to a mat I purchased a pull up bar that cost me $24. In some cases you may need some dumbbells. You can find them at a Wal-mart, or another retail outlet. You may find them at a garage sale, eBay or on Craigslist. For very few dollars you can put together a very effective workout with enough muscle confusion to get you into fantastic shape in no time.

The beautiful part about using exercise dvds is that you buy them once and use them many. A personal trainer, depending on the gym, expertise, and location is going to be a minimum of $20/hour and much more expensive in bigger cities. How many times a week do you plan on going to  the gym?  In addition to paying for a membership you are also are paying for the coach, PER HOUR. That gets to be expensive. You can obviously go and workout on your own. Do you know what your doing? And, do you have the motivation?
